I am awake because there was a Stardust preview in town and I get Orange Wedsndays cheap tickets, except it sold out just before we got to the front of the queue, and we went to see the Transformers movie in IMAX instead. Which turned out to be awesome all by itself, because on a huge screen it's even more... giant robots fighting each other! ( Read more... )

I went with my housemates to see Little Miss Sunshine tonight. I really liked it - it managed to be a slightly fluffy comedy while also having something useful and practical to say, which immediately put it half a head in front of most of the other stuff out at the moment, and also, omg Steve Carrell is love.
